The arrangement was quick and to the point for everyone involved. It was in a matter of an hour that Lucian had found himself covered in the armor of the Albion people wielding a scythe of average make. Bok was of a lesser situation, simply hanging around Lucian as the people walked around in a frenzy of preparation.
Lucian expected them to have problems with him, on account that he knew for sure that the green eyes of Morrslieb were his once again. Yet they did not bother much with that, perhaps because Lucian had proven himself a warrior against evil in their eyes or that they could not care at the moment.
They cared just that little bit more about Bok, the giant Kroxigor who didn’t leave Lucian’s side during the entirety of their preparation phase. The Baron of the fortress did not seem bothered by his presence. The people were similar, but treaded softly around him like an exceptionally dangerous horse that could lash out against them at any moment. No orders came on separating the two of them, likely because their fear of the Kroxigor was simply that great.
Lucian found himself positioned not too far from the walls, but in a small building that was filled with all manners of weapons and armor. He could count a few dozen men squeezed in there, meaning that when Lucian and Bok both entered that the place had become even more cramped for everyone involved.
The two of them settled with Bok taking up a corner with Lucian sitting on a bucket next to him. Lucian probably could have sat on the body of Bok, but he did not feel like he should. He was not one to test such a massive creature when the space was so cramp.
“Thats a monster of a beast.” One of the men said as Lucian settled in to their new space, “Never thought I’d see one of the Lizardmen so close like this. Damn, glad its on our side.”
“I agree. It took a little work but Bok will even listen to some commands if I give them.” Lucian said as he patted the creature.
“So if you got the monster, that makes you Lucian the Slayer.” The man said as he gave a toothy smile, “It’s a good omen for a killer like you to be here today.”
>Indeed, its a good thing
>Many wouldn’t agree
>To each their own
