>Ignore them. Let that attention build in a positive direction. You've pulled off a massive power move, and it's sure to get people talking. You could use that in the future if you show up around here with Phascomon. You don't need to antagonize them further, when you can make use of this reputation to strengthen your own street cred.
You take a deep breath, then let it go. The guy sidles off with his Goburimon, tails between their legs, now that all the attention is on you. The trash can guy is staring really hard now, and you try not to look back at him. He's the only one who saw you up close earlier, and you know that it'll be bad to linger around him. The crowd doesn't chase you down, as you make your way out of the delinquent district. Phascomon returns to your Digivice as well, as you clamber up onto the rooftops and start heading home.
Along the way, you're more vigilant than usual. You go in a completely different direction to throw any pursuers off your trail, then quickly descend to street level. You swap to your usual outfit, making sure the diagonal zip of your jacket is drawn tight, then start walking towards a park. You blend in with a group of picnicgoers, sitting there on the ground for a bit so you can keep an eye out for anybody suspicious.
Finally, when you're convinced that it's safe, you get up and start walking home.
<span class="mu-s">"Well, we sure made a splash."</span>
"Yeah... I don't think I scared them very much, though."
<span class="mu-s">"Mhm. Not enough to make them think twice about doing the same to other Digimon. But it's a good first step, you showed up, after all."</span>
"Let's just go back."
<span class="mu-s">"Hang on, can we buy some snacks first? Since we're out here anyway."</span>
"Okay."
You get home a bit later than usual that night, your inventory laden with goodies. As soon as you settle down, you check your message history with Squid.
