“I'm gonna keep working on that Clothes Beam!” she says enthusiastically. “I think it's gonna be a really useful skill to have.”
“You'll have it mastered in another day or two, I know it.” you tell her, ruffling her hair. “But don't forget to take a break now and then too. We're not in any hurry.”
“I will.” she replies, then flies up and gives your neck a hug before running off as well. You turn back to Towa, only to see her fingers flying over the keyboard as she studies the screen before her and decide to leave her be. Raising your right hand back to your forehead, you focus on Koruza's ki, and use Instant Transmission to teleport right to his side.
“Hey kiddo. How's it going?” you ask, appearing beside him. And to your surprise he isn't alone, Dark Rider sitting in the chair across from him.
“Ah, Karn. There you are.” your half-demon son's Stand says, it's voice surprisingly proper. “We were just speaking of you.”
“Oh really?” you ask, looking between them curiously. “Well, I hope it was complimentary.”
“It was.” Koruza says, you turning and looking at your son as he speaks up. “Earlier, when that monster was hiding in the walls. You just went after it directly, and didn't hesitate. You had to know it was dangerous, didn't you?”
“Well I didn't know, but had a good idea it wasn't anything good.” you tell him, sitting down in the chair between them and joining in the conversation. “Anything that even Towa didn't know was down there had to be trouble.”
“And yet, you charged directly towards the danger, instead of waiting to see what it was.” Dark Rider says. “You never hesitate in the face of potential danger.”
“I can't afford to hesitate.” you say, turning to the Stand. “All of my family was behind me. I can't let any of you get hurt.”
“Yes, but even when your family is not present, you always take the battle to your enemy.” the Stand continues, touching it's blade-like fingertips together. “You always take the head-first approach, throwing yourself at whatever danger approaches. Why is that?”
