Lorgar’s smile widened as he snapped his fingers, causing the illusions of chaos to fall to reveal the dozen twisted knights that were present. The twisted questors charged full tilt in the direction of Particep Semper like fleas towards a giant. Particep Semper would have needed to be wary of these twisted abominations on a normal day, but as the fist of the Warlord Titan made itself known it was obvious they were prepared to fight him.
Particep Semper quickly swung for the Warlord before him, a being he realized to be a corrupted Titan of the Legio Astorum. Its blue paint slowly being revealed to the Omnissiah as the sorcery that kept it a secret inked back into the shadows that was conjured by Lorgar.
Particep Semper was a Trinity, and for this single moment all sides of the trinity agreed. They should not have agreed for it was not wise for them all to realize this fact. To be baited by the trickery of the fallen Primarch to become but a primal creature. But they could not, for the Machine Spirit, Worshiper, and Will of a God were all inflamed with anger upon this display of callousness.
He did not care for the Questorius Knights, no, Abhorrents that were slicing deeply into his ankles and achilles. All he cared for was the impact of his axe upon the Warlord Titan that was putting itself in a guard. Axe met Claw with the rumbling of a primal energies swirled overhead.
Lorgar smiled as the Warlord shined with golden light. A shield of divine light surrounded the Titan against the attack, giving the Titan enough strength to rebuttal the strike. He laughed as Particep Semper could feel the joy that his brother was having. So much sweet joy that was sickening for the Divine being to taste.
Abhorrents dug their claws into the legs of Particep Semper as the Titan tried his damning best to smash through the shield that was conjured by Lorgar. They hooted and hallard from below like the dogs they had become, but the Omnissiah knew the truth to be far worse than that. He could hear the screams of both Machine Spirit and Man’s Soul as they were all tortured to attack the one who they thought as their sovereign and knew to be their prophet.
As they chopped at him the Omnissiah saw it. A lone figure that quickly rushed across one of the Abhorrents and slithered his way into the chassis of Particep Semper.
Fulgrim smelled his blood.
