To which to ask Faysal about his combat knowledge. Ironically though he is vastly inferior to you in a fight, as an educated and experienced noble he is technically quite competent with his sword, although you question the benefit of learning his fighting style when it is more about precision and speed. You are though, interested in what the humans overall have to offer. Something which is quite a sore point for Faysal, because although he can offer stories of various heroes of the land and renown warriors, the undisputed greatest warrior currently living is a chief enemy of the Almhorads.
<span class="mu-s">"al-Alsyn..."</span> as he is called by Faysal's people, is a conqueror without equal more than his strategy or command but rather his sheer prowess in battle and righteous ferocity. So much so that if he is present then the battle is considered lost before it began and usually the Almhorads will simply withdraw. The only solace is that the man can only be one place at a time so at least battles can take place elsewhere! In any case, this man is one of the chief reasons that the Almhorads are in territorial decline... considering which, Faysal quickly formulates devious intent.
<span class="mu-s">"...y-yes Tanaloa, you should seek this man! From him you can learn much I am sure, or make a peerless servant!"</span>
It seems obvious what he wants, but it's maybe not the worst idea. Such potential cannot simply be dismissed, you know at least that much.
Otherwise though, you can finally manage to break the shackles and free yourself from one another. Let Faysal to himself for awhile, you're eager to take to the open ocean once again. And swim freely you do, drawing vigor from the currents and the depths, submerging yourself in the embrace of the sea. Feeling enlivened and your body restored, you take the rest of the day to swim lengths up and down the coast. Partly for the exercise and partly to search for any human settlements along the way, for your own benefit.
>It's been too long since a good pillaging. For your own sake to get back on top of your game, you'd do well for an attack, either a boat or village.
>With the knowledge of the maps available to you now, you feel like exploring a little... perhaps even to locate a new, more defensible home? You can always return later, after all.
>After that defeat, the matter of your own power is important to you. Focus on ways you can cultivate your divinity.
>The matter of the humans is becoming more promising to you. Maybe you don't want to choose sides, but see if you can't intervene in order to better decide.
