When one was upon a Titan as grand as Particep Semper there was barely another feeling worse than the moment of disconnection. Being one with the Titan was something that made the Primarch feel like he was invincible. To be the God upon the battlefield was something none of his brothers will ever understand themselves.
The world below them was scarred but still livable. The scouts had informed TalOS that the planet was home to a series of human slaves which meant they could not outright blow the planet apart with the Blackstone Fortress’s guns. That, and that the Imperium did not look kindly to Exterminatus because they could not recover their worlds as easily as the Mechanicum could.
As for the reason TalOS was still shaking off the effects of the Throne Mechanicum and not helping in the sweeping of the lands beneath him was those that came into the system after TalOS arrived. When the bogies arrived TalOS was interested but held them off for the battle was yet to be won.
Such situations had changed, and since they were using Vox communication it was reasonable to see them as humans too.
+UZ1.+ TalOS called out to his companion with a faint smile, +Tell the new arrivals that I will welcome them.+
+I will do so.+ She answered with a bow and walked out of the room.
TalOS felt his sons tense as they all prepared themselves for what was first contact with a new civilization. While scans showed the enemy did not have anything that could outright kill TalOS, thanks to the numerous modifications he had, they were shown to be proficient with human technology.
The one to enter TalOS’s room was not one of the scouts but a diplomat. Such was that while TalOS was spending roughly a week blitzing the planet below these fellows had gathered a small fleet in the region of the Blackstone Fortress.
The man who was before TalOS had a series of augmentations that would have been considered tame by Mechanicum standards. There was no major skull restructuring nor was there any large organs replaced. One eye was replaced it seemed, along with a series of small devices that were going down to his neck.
Looking upon him TalOS knew there was at least one piece of technology that has yet to be known to the Mechanicum. Such thoughts was enough to make TalOS salivate at the aspect of lost knowledge.
