>>5667711“That’s all of them, Blair!” Ingrid shouts, pulling up next to your mount. “It looks like the Alliance has gotten in Dimitri’s way. We need to go down there and clear a path for them.”
>“How do you intend we do that?!”“We’ll circle around the Alliance line and find a weak spot! There has to be one that exists. If we can hit them from behind with a surprise assault, that should allow Dimitri and the others to break the stalemate.”
Your worst fears about this battle were beginning to come true one by one. To think you’d be fighting the Alliance here was…you shake the thought away. You’re here for a job, and you’ll see it through. You and the others follow Ingrid as she leads your wing towards the ongoing battle between yellow and blue. As you draw closer, you see a blue light, followed by a large purple explosion in the distance, where the Empire and the Alliance were fighting. The attack and magic felt familiar, and you quickly deduce that its origin must have been Lysithea. So, was she currently engaging the Empire instead of the Kingdom? That made you feel somewhat better, though if it was out of fear for her safety or yours you couldn’t say.
“There!” Ingrid shouts. “Look how the Alliance’s line is thin in the center. We’ll divebomb them there and split them in two halves.”
Ingrid’s right. The Alliance has been spread thin in an attempt to hold off the rush of higher skilled Kingdom soldiers. If you hit them where Ingrid had suggested, there was no doubt it would be slaughter. But those intrusive thoughts suddenly enter your mind once more. You’d spent a year in Leicester and been treated with great hospitality. It was very likely you even had a friend or two in the center of that mess. Could you really do this?
>A): Attack Leicester>B): Refuse the order
