“And as you can see, the Hoi-Poi Capsules are the pinnacle of ease of transport on Earth. Haul an entire aircraft fleet right in the palm of your hands.” the blue-haired woman says, holding up the small case lined with capsules.
“And you're saying each one of 'em is a different aircraft?” your second, Blueberry asks in shock. “Incredible. And there's no magic behind this technology whatsoever?”
“That's right! It is all mechanical, a function of the capsule technology my late father engineered. Anything from your phone to a building, a laser-based weapon like the one on your arm or a VTOL aircraft, or even the spherical ships you all flew in on could be contained within Capsules.” she continues in her sales pitch. Clearly enjoying herself and the looks on your men's faces. Especially your own, knowing that you're in charge of your people on this world. “The applications are endless! You can even store food within one, and despite the temperature outside, the items will remain within at whatever temperature they were stored in. Say, you're about to leave for a long spaceflight, you could have home-cooked meals prepared and stored within capsules, even having a supply for every day of a months-long space voyage.”
“I see. This technology is quite sophisticated. Far more advanced than we had expected of a pre-spaceflight civilization.” you retort, bringing a hand to your chin. “There had been reports of such technology before, from the Tuffles, but their process was... unable to be replicated, even with full, unrestricted access to their facilities after the Saiyan-Tuffle War, or what was left of them anyways. The fact this technology thought lost to time has been rediscovered will be quite the discovery. Tell me, what is your planet's capabilities to replicate it? Is this something that can be done at-scale?”
“Of course. May need to modify the process a bit, especially if your constructions use metal alloys or other materials that don't necessarily work with the capsule tech. But I believe that, with the right support it can be scaled up globally.”
“I see. This is quite the unexpected development, but a pleasant one. I'm sure Lord Cooler would see the potential of this technology, and wish to know more.” you answer, pleased with this discovery and how well things are going.
