HOWEVER, I wish for us to make it clear to him that we hope that by the time our tenure in the DG is finished, he will have found forgiven himself, for a man may be forgiven by all he has wronged, yet if he cannot forgive himself, he may yet be damned. Also, even if we don't end up with lady Daubeny, I'm sure that having him find peace and happiness in his life again will hep her do the same. If we win Vancewell, but cant save Daubeny's smile, I will consider it an utter failure.
