Truth be told, the Acillians are NOT better than the Astartes. Not as they are now. For all intents and purposes, the Astartes should suceed in all cases.
It was just that their faith, and the blessings of the Machine Spirits, which aid them overcome. At least, I hope that's how it works like the same way UZ1 was able to best Tesla.
Honestly though now that you've outright stated we can go for a Germanic esque legion that opens up a TON of awesome fluff and aesthetic options. Please go full ham on fluffing up our guys.
I was a bit leery at first why we would offer them Mjorn or make drinking a part of our shtick when Cult Mechanicus are supposed to avoid the luxuries of the flesh. But the fact that they're Germanic? Well, we did engage in a drinking contest with Russ. Our sons can definitely aspire to continue to challenge the Space Wolves at any opportunity!
