[16:49 hours] - The howitzer fires, striking the crowd and eliminating a number of Retainers and Ashigaru. The gathered crowd remains full of bodies to throw, however. The Koshogumi at the jammer sounds the charge and the resounding yell of "Banzai" is heard over the hills as the charge commences prematurely. They are currently running to the trade post, weapons drawn. The ground can be felt rumbling from all their stomps across the plain. We are in grave danger now.
The Ashigaru fleeing from Area C earlier came upon our Ayit. Seeing our snipers down low, they immediately opened fire with what they had. A number of our snipers were unfortunately killed before they could draw sidearms and defend themselves, shooting down the rest of those Ashigaru. Over at the farm house, a number of our Atz'mah fell alongside Soldaten taking down the Yumi Bowmen at short range. However, they are now fleeing to regroup at the jammer and regain their long ranged advantage. We won't be able to approach easily if they can rain arrows again.
Hitting the firing line of Ashigaru and scrambling them resulted in a slaughter. We took them down in droves, but several of our men became casualties in the process. A number that can be counted on one hand flee off to the side. They're probably trying to get around the cement wall and into the trade post.

The Banzai charge is closing in. Howitzer preparing to fire again.

We're ordering the troops at the farm house to chase the Yumi bowmen down. We can't allow them to have an advantage and make the jammer's position unenviable to approach. All our troops around the trade post are going back inside with the Soldaten to hold it down to meet the Retainers' Banzai charge.
