>>5480562>>5480206>>5479958>>5479932>>5479843When your first dance with the Novice Fleshweaver concludes, you take the excuse to next dance with Azonia the Duelist—something that seems to both relieve the Novice in granting her a reprieve AND annoy her in your selection. While you won’t deny some level of enjoyment, your intentions are by no means lascivious or frivolous: you instead seek to gain intelligence on this new potential mate for the Prince-Ascendant.
“Huh?” the Duelist replies. “Oh, Princess Chenzira, you mean? From House Nyrr?”
“Do you Drow call EVERY noble a ‘prince’ or ‘princess’?” you ask.
“Um, duh.”
You breeze past this, deeming it just another elven cultural oddity—a hundred genders and pronouns, and no distinction in aristocratic ranks. Sure, why NOT? The Duelist proves more useful in clarifying other details of the elfmaid and her house. Nyrr is apparently considered a lesser house, never having produced a king or queen, but fairly capable as a source of military and material aid to those in power. They lack clear leanings or alliances. They voted for Solinsyr, having previously shown sympathies to Corandiirn.
“Probably just because Minothel would never marry someone so… Plain.”
Despite her lack of derriere, the Princess of Nyrr looks as uncannily symmetrical, youthful, and ethereally-beautiful as ANY elf to you… But admittedly, maybe not QUITE so radiant to your senses magical and mundane as (for example) Jazkarmel or Azonia. She is apparently well-read (“a total bookworm and wallflower”, per the Duelist), so THAT is at least promising: a dour and retiring personality would probably be a BETTER fit for Solinsyr of Lahlabar than rowdy, flirtatious, adventurous Jazkarmel of Yvonlace!
