The map of the Vishnu Realm. One of the regions of Shangrila with an overabundance of life and organisms. If the Bone Devouring Forest in Long Jia, was considered full of animals, dangers and death in the past, then the deep jungles of the Vishnu some might say surpass it or stand on even grounds for others. Giant serpents, strange multi horned beasts, fearsome white tigers and the southern fog panthers are just some of the beasts that dwell under the great trees and plants present here.
In the north the great swamp where the Xue live, continues south entering in the jungles, but it also stopped by a mountain chain, where the famous Serpent Pass is made. These particular mountains have always been fought over the Vishnu of the south and the Yan of the north, as they grant safe passage toward one of the grasslands of the region. That is one of the few parts without a large presence of flora, and far safer for human civilization, near these grasslands there are usually even great lakes that originate from the nearby mountain chains.
The Vishnu themselves are quite different from one another, it was only recently that they were united completely under Nitya Sinha, previously they were divided among kingdoms, tribes and city states. The union of societies that while similar had different lifestyles (tribesmen from a semi nomadic tribe fighting now alongside raised professional troops of a city, or levies rallied by a king) was quite a cultural shock. Even so the bloodthirsty warlord managed to do the impossible, using the deep rooted martial traditions of the Vishnu people, as one of the main factors for uniting the land. Beyond his martial prowess and great cruelty.
