The first to arrive in what was classified as system 107-302 was the first eyes the Imperium and Mechanicum had within the region. This was the moment that the Orks were confirmed to be within the Region for TalOS and his brother to both see from a Vid recording.
TalOS decided to leave the Ork extermination to those who had become near perfect professionals at it. Dorn quickly started the organization and the distribution of forces along while TalOS helped facilitate the conversations between him and the Mechanicum adepts.
The force that TalOS brought was not the greatest number, for this mission did not need a full two legions to work upon it. What helped TalOS not give to many was the fact that his old predecessor, Lucius the Elder, was within the fleet with what was the largest auxiliary ever to have been given.
It was a good moment for TalOS to reunite with the old Fabricator General. The man was taking his new position well and had little issue with what TalOS was doing in the Federation. Such words were like music to the ears of TalOS, who in truth still saw himself as living to the legacy of the man.
The tactics that the Imperial Fists used were what was expected. Upon a barren world massive fortifications were built in an attempt to dare the Ork to war. When it came to Orks daring them to go into war was so easy a child could do it. It was only because TalOS trusted the Imperial Fists and their fortifications that he went along with it, for any mortal general worth their salt would have considered such a thing suicide.
Powerful void shields that could only be built upon the surface of planets easily destroyed the incoming Ork rocks that would have impacted the structure, causing the horde to throw themselves at the planet instead. Upon the planet was Rogal Dorn, organizing the defense with the assistance of Lucius the Elder as his communications operator.
There was however no need to have two Primarchs upon the same region, no matter how much TalOS wanted to help his brother more directly. The two of them agreed that they needed to sever the network of resources to keep the Orks from reinforcing themselves.
When it came to taking armed forced from the Federation, TalOS had take one primary thing instead of his full Legion. When dealing with Orks it was the perfect weapon to use against them, for as TalOS’s Blackstone Fortress entered the first of the Ork controlled worlds the slaughter began.
