it is a corpse. it is a leviathan. it is an impossibly large skeleton of some creature borne in space, so huge its its own moon in sheer size. the creature specifically appears to be wildly biomechanical, that the line between between building, creature, and spaceship does not exist here. a warfleet could gather inside its jaws and its spine length is so long it could wrap around some minor planetoids
it is crusted over with purple patches here and there of metal and lights and gold.
it is encrusted, specifically, with signs that the things from the gas cloud live here. some of the stars seem like they're moving.
