What they saw were insane feats of heroism and ability, the Null Nobilite being the perfect reaper’s of the Emperor’s own justice upon the world that had betrayed him so overwhelmingly.
Overall it was a massive success. The mortal men that came face to face with the Nullificators found themselves terrified and unable to retaliate. Even those who received dark blessings were unable to bear themselves against the full terror of having one’s soul devoured.
The source of their casualties though was when resistance other than mortal men came to bear.
“They grow in boldness.” Was what Malcador said as the scene of the giant daemon graced their screens, “They know that news of this will never leave the planet for our plans to work, and temper with it. If even a parcel of this film was to reach an orator the entire Great Crusade will be lost.”
“But that also means we cannot bring to bare our full might against them.” TalOS pointed out as he gave a small hum, “We will not be able to have inquisitors and witchseekers walking about freely for people would question their existence. Malcador, our enemies are playing their hands well.”
“But we are gaining tools to use against them.” Declared the Sigillite as he stopped the film at the moment of the Daemon’s death, “When Daemons die they tend to have an explosion of energy to make a wide enough break back into the immaterium. That did not occur.”
TalOS nodded sagely as he listened to his uncle’s words, “If he did not escape back into the Warp then he faced final death.”
“We have a weapon to use against them.” Malcador smiled as he said those words, “A more direct weapon, at the very least.”
“But we will need to make improvements.” TalOS said as he manipulated their view to several points on the screen, “I believe proper Power Armor should be given to them, and improved Shielding systems. I will check the Mechanicum’s archives for we must improve them in both body and mind.”
“Do so. I will see if there are any secrets from our own projects that can be used.” Malcador said as he rose from his seat.
