How do you even burn stew? What were those black spots floating on top? And the hell were those green chunks? Vlad didn't remember bringing any damn mirlitons!
He did not need to pour a droplet of that on his tongue to know the stew and the mixture of flavours could only combo into the delicious taste of fresh vomit.
"A quick question, if you don't mind me asking... What did you put in this?"
"Not much. Serpico and Hyde had most of the ingredients ready. I just mixed and stirred it."
"A mix and a stir shouldn't make the food smell like this... Did you let it overcook?"
"...Maybe." Farnese knew there was no point in hiding her mistakes, so she admitted to it.
"Hyde never lets food goes to waste, so I doubt he would give us something that tasted bad..." Vlad was still sceptical on eating it, still investigating if the food was safe to eat.
A lot of things here weren't supposed to be mixed or even mashed. It would be one thing if they were eating leftovers, but making a watery portion this size is just a waste of resources.
"Aside from being off the mark with the water, did you put any secret ingredients here?"
"...L-Love...?" Farnese blushed as she tilted her head.
Ah, how could Vlad be such a critic at a lass' first meal? She obviously did her best and is treating it as a learning experience, what's the harm in giving her some encouragement and eating a mouthful of it? If you do plan on spending your days with her, she might as well start learning sometime soon.
"Alright Farnese, you got me there..." Vlad ceased his lack of sensitivity and scooped the stew from the bowl. What's the worst that could happen? Would he also attempt to feel for the food's Od to see if its life force was planning on consuming his? Ridiculous...
Farnese grinned ear to ear just as fast as Vlad frowned when gulping down her food, making sure to cough and spit out the fish bones that nearly got stuck on his throat.
Yep, tasted as bad as it smelled. He was already feeling dizzy at the first spoonful... No way in hell he would be able to finish the entire thing.
"How does it taste?" The jolly Farnese asked, but not wanting to open his mouth up and let the food spill out, Vlad instinctively placed more of it inside, wanting the torture to be over as soon as possible.
"My! You must have been very hungry indeed... I'm sorry I made you wait for so long..." Serpico came back, with his comedic timing only being outdone by Vlad's.
