“What the hell was that?” you ask her, looking to her. “That attack ran my through, but there's not a mark on me.”
“Soul sorceries. A dangerous breed of magic because it doesn't attack your physical form, but targets your very soul.” she says, taking her chime off her waist and reciting the words of her prayer, ringing it as a wave of her healing power washes over you. The chill power of the Darkmoon floods through your being, healing the damage to you that attack had wrought. “If you had been transformed, I don't know if I can heal the Berserker Soul since it doesn't play well with my power.”
“Lucky me.” you reply, sighing out as her power finishes its path through you. “Thanks kiddo, always appreciate it.”
“Of course. And thank you for telling me.” she replies to you, hugging you once more. You hug her back, embracing your daughter a moment before she lets go. Caulifla then steps back, brow twitching before lifting up into the air. “We can talk more later, there are more coming. I'll keep them to the Ruins, where they can't hurt anyone else.”
And without waiting for a reply she flies off, heading westward towards the Ruins' entrance. Leaving you alone, and with only one question on your mind.
