Lucian’s eyes glazed across the walls for he was impressed simply by the stonework. Carried on from the outside the walls up to about Lucian’s hip was a white cobblestone. Above that was the wood which made up most of the estate that had paintings of all kinds across it. If Lucian was to guess this place was most closely like a castle, being a castle retreat away from the home of the Knight who lived here.
The paintings were all of either beautiful women or fantastical Knights. However many of them belonged to the Baron who lived here and however many of them were from another bloodline. What it did demonstrate was the chivalric fervor that was within this place and the devotion to the simple idea of Chivalry.
“Well it seems our fellow might be here.” Adok said as he nodded to a nearby pair of double doors.
The Yeoman turned and gave a bow to the two of them, asking that the pair of them wait here for the moment. With those words he walked into the room. It was a few moments later that he came back out and gave a bow asking them all to come in.
The two of them walked in to find that there was indeed two people in the room. What quickly caught the attention of Lucian was the large feathered hat that one of the men was wearing. His blond hair easily visible underneath the somewhat tasteful and outrageous headwear the man was wearing. Quickly Lucian’s eyes gazed upon the chestplate the man was wearing clearly upon his breast as a testament. He made sure everyone knew he was a Noble, even though he was a foreign lord in these lands.
“Lucian the Durand,” The words came from a mostly armored man who was wielding a wineglass in his gauntleted hands, “I am Baron Christofle, Lord of Castle Olfiell. I did not expect someone such as you would come to my home with another guest no less.”
“Thank you, Lord.” Lucian said as he gave a bow, “I am joined by Adok the Runesmith, he is my close companion on my quest.”
“And what brings you here? Do you seek help dealing with the Prince who threatens to arrive in Bastonne within the next few days?” He asked with a raised brow.
>Actually, we were looking for your guest
>Yes, that could help
>We wanted to meet the immaculate Baron!
>Other lies *Write in*
