+Until we meet again, Father.+ TalOS said as he gave the Emperor the sign of the Cog.
TalOS watched his Father’s face and saw that it grew a thin smile of affection. Said words were as good an affirmation for the Emperor as anything else that could have been declared by TalOS. He gave the sign of the Aquilla to his son, then reached for the activation lever.
+Great trials will be ahead of us TalOS. Continue your preperations.+ With those words the Emperor flipped the switch and the reality that was before TalOS shifted.
He was not upon the Vengeful Spirit, the walls were of a blackened steel color. Around him what was once decorations were gone and replaced with numerous racks of tools for TalOS’s pleasure to use. Taking his eye about the place he noted the numerous projects that were lined up, including the one that involved time manipulations that was once before a failure.
He was home, in his workshop.
TalOS tapped into the Noospheric Network which surrounded the entire planet of Lucius. Here he could see all manners of interactions and workings that his authority as Fabricator General allowed him. Such knowledge was at his fingertips and TalOS easily reviewed all that happened.
Overall TalOS was gone for one year, in the time of his absence the operations of the Parliament was what acted in his stead. It was a sort of risky play, but it was one to see what the situation was when he would be gone.
Examination showed that it was ultimately Arch Magos ADM1N who took over the planet and the Federation when he was gone. TalOS knew the man to be the most ambitious on the High Council of Lucius, in addition to this he was honestly the most qualified.
TalOS looked into his messages to send a message to his Regent, but found that ADM1N had already sent him a message. Looking it over TalOS saw an entire docket of Manufactorium productions as well as a report for the ever-going expansion. These, as well as all other reports, did not show any sign of forgery.
In addition to that were the laws and legislation related to the Parliament. There was nothing major, no power grabs by the man who was his regent, which only caused TalOS’s opinion to be raised.
The Fabricator General quickly got things settled back into motion and did the fixes that were needed. All while sending a message of thanks to the Magos with the promise that when he recovers, TalOS will meet with him personally to deliver another thanks.
