For example if their crops would start to wither and die (something which should be well within eithers Verth's perview or Sidri as plants need light to live and we just learned how to fuck with that) that might be taken as a sign of some importance.
Especially if Lemoni begins working them over to encourage that very notion.
And then, of course, after a nice apology and maybe sacrifice (they did hurt our dear sister after all) we'd be all to happy to help and accept them all into the fold.

Either way I think we need to move up the timetable with those beastmen, because if the villagers spread rumours about monsters attacking them there might be some knights or adventuring types who needs to disappear in an unfortunate, but entirely unforeseeable, accident that doesn't implicate us.
