We have decided to enlist the aid of an expert from the Illuminati college. We have received help from Heiromage REDACTED, who has agreed to travel to the refugee community and scrutinize the totem in person. We ensured the mage would be able to arrive in a timely manner by train and car, though upon arriving, our mage and his chauffeur are immediately met with hostility from the Fu Dog clerics upon giving his intentions. They are highly suspicious and do not wish to let him get near, but the Heiromage is able to convince them that his scrutiny will not disturb the summoning process.
Our Heiromage spent two hours examining the totem.
In conclusion, he is not able to discern much, but tells us that the summoning process is not creating a Kami as intended. He informs us that the method is actually pulling an extant entity into physical form... The Fu Dog clerics present refuse to believe this however.
We are now highly concerned about the situation. We have decided to raise alertness and prepare for countermeasures.
The fact is clear enough to us that the process is actually going to summon a Kami that already exists. This is the most puzzling thing, as there are no recorded Kami that still exist beyond the Poverty God Kei in Yongesia following the Trinity's purges of them.
[03:00 hours] - We are on the cusp of something tragic. We've pursued the wrong ends.

( Hours until Ritual completion )
( 3 hours )
1. Solution.
>Let's go to the drawing board now. We need to deal with the ritual.
>Delay solutions for the time being, we don't have enough to go off of.
2. Info.
>We need more. Have our agents present a falsified Woldorian government warrant and search the community's houses by force. (2 hours)
>We need more. We should research Final War accounts on the Afterseas from Heer classified files and Imperial databases to find matches in order of accounts that bear similarities or identical entities and circumstances. (3 hours)
>We should consult with the available deities to see if we can find out anything. It may take a while though, and we are not sure how long we have until the ritual is complete. (3 hours)
>Look into the local contacts for the area. Question individuals involved with the group even if we have to. (2 hours)
>We should attempt to coerce the clerics into giving up who taught them the method of Kami creation however we can, even if it leaves the Fu Dogs sour or arouses retaliation. (1 hour)
