+My fellow Knights.+ Began Fredric as he raised his claw into the air, +It does not matter from what house you are before us are the enemies of both Mankind and Dutonis. The head of the Grail System Horde, the one whose fleets had ravaged us for a millenium, is before us! With all haste Charge! Charge to GLORY!+
Alexander could have been angered that Fredric spoke out of turn like that, invoking his own household. At a moment like this though he did not care. The feelings he had were insurmountable as he caught sight of his target cheering on his horde. Alexander ordered his Knight to give a mighty roar as he fully tilted his chassis towards the one who had caused Dutonis so much misery.
He wasn't alone in this as the Armigers and Arch Angelus began charging forward. The Helverins quickly took up their positions at the edges and started raining down into the Hordes. Even if their attacks did not carry the volume the strikes against the enemy’s mechs and giants were enough to give the defenders a much needed buffer.
As they did that the Warglaives and their Questorus Hosts continued their charge forward. At the moment Alexander realized he could the Prince engaged his Knight into a full on push into the Horde just as every other Knight did.
For the Orks, while they did arrive with numbers, it was a simple fact that none of their idols or Icons were within the mob. Likely destroyed thanks to their impact, the Knights quickly started carving into the forces of the Orks with impunity.
The transhumans, seeing the momentum shift, quickly started to settle into their training either carving into the enemy with chainswords or Vokite. The kicking back of the Orks giving just enough room for the Acillians to pepper the enemy with a full torrent of energy into their bodies.
The moment of reprieve was lessened as the Orkoid Overlord roared loudly and from the horde the few Orks who could match his size rising up to meet the Acillian and Astarte walls.
As this happened the Knights were now in the thick of the battle. Orks all around them being killed only for that many to be replaced with another charge. Alexander could see the Armigers slowly being overwhelmed as Arch Angelus torched dozens of Orks with a torrent of fire.
As Alexander fired his Avenger Gatling Cannon into the crowd what he should do. A moment of clarity as the Machine Spirit’s instincts were satisfied with the carnage to allow him thought. His Armigers were fighting for their lives and could a Prince really let his vassals to die?
It was then that he heard it, +Alexander, charge forward and kill the Overlord!+
Those words were from Arch Angelus. He wondered for a moment why he would speak such words when he could have easily kept Alexander here and taken the glory for himself. But he did not, and so Alexander charged forward.
