Using the information provided by our guests we estimate them to be a hybrid of Divine magic and using an unknown magic type called Ki that somehow acts like the equivalent of Stoneskin but unaffected by anti-magic runes. Further questions on this topic were denied by the Divinus Lumar Empire. Both empires appear to have similar governments with peasants supporting the base of society and enlightened ones being in positions of power to help progress society by the decree of their leader. The current empress of the Lumar empire being Kayla Fluctus currently on a crusade subjugating oceanic monsters.
Flipping through the pages a bit more as William feels the sleep trying to overtake him as his eyes pauses enough to catch the word representative. Representatives are positions of power given to normal citizens where a mage or some other official position could not be fulfilled due to lack of recruitable mage applications. Such positions include steel union heads, logistic centers, and public waste disposal. Jobs of minor importance where mage talents would be wasted if placed in a dead end job. Here citizen representatives have a higher degree of autonomy to better be able to hit production quotas and provide citizens with vertical social mobility to help aid the empire. Usually if these positions cannot be fulfilled by a mage it will be assigned by hand from the previous representative to maintain the work flow to due disruption of mage operations. While it is regrettable that mages do not want all positions of power available the empire makes due with second hand resources to meet its demands.
