Datz is understandably curious about what happened in the dwarf's soul, so you’ll tell her real quick before addressing Hawkodesh. This shouldn't take long...
A few minutes pass by as you speak of your battle with the demon. She’s really surprised by all the crazy descriptions you give her. "That is absolutely nuts! Floating in a void, facing a nightmarish creature, all while it talks trash about our families... just wow! I can't imagine how trippy it must have felt to be there!"
You shrug. "It was really odd at first, but I got used to it quickly."
"Yeah... those monsters are mean bastards, aren’t they?” She smiles and rests a hand on your shoulder. ”I’m so glad you got out of there alive. This is the first minion of Gnolrek you've vanquished. Well, there's those crows too, but still... this is the first REAL fight you had with one. And you kicked its ass! It’s no simple feat, ya know? You should be proud of yourself!”
“Yup! I sure am...” You smile, not knowing what else to say. It does feel a bit strange, however. Something is bothering you, preventing you from savouring your victory as you damn well should, but you don't know what it is...
Daitza gives you a silent, expectant look, waiting for you to say more. Seeing as you don't, her expression turns into one of frustration. She grabs your shoulders and shakes you lightly, as if trying to get you to react or something. “Oh, give me a break! Is that all you have to say after the insane stuff you went through?! You killed a demon, Hyeny! A d e m o n! That's not something everyone can brag about!" She releases you and taps your chest. "C'mon, tell me how it REALLY makes you feel. Be open with me!”
She's pushing you real hard to share your thoughts… but the truth is you haven’t given enough weight to this experience. You’re not *sure* what to think, really. Before stumbling upon Kholgarsh, she was telling you about Anu and the Dominions. Then you had that strange vision, and moments later, you found yourself facing a demon. All this stuff happening at once and so fast is kind of overwhelming...
Okay. It’s time to collect your thoughts. You killed a demon, yes. You almost died in the attempt, sure... but STILL. You won. Now, what are you supposed to *feel* about this...?
>Proud of yourself. This is the first demon you've killed, and many more will meet their demise at your hands
>Grateful and relieved. Anu's powers allowed you to win this battle, and you're glad to have them at your disposal
>Unsatisfied. The only reason you won was because of Anu’s intervention. You’d rather be able to kill demons with your own strength
>Nothing special. That demon was a small fry in a sea of far more powerful beings. You won’t be satisfied until you beat Gnolrek himself
>Write in
