He looks...better? Layers on layers on gauze has wrapped around the left side of his face. His arms and sides are peppered with stitches and his gut has a nasty looking scar across it but you have no doubt he's going to survive this.
"And you can thank Nicole that you're not bleeding out." Maruyama says with a bit too much bite.
"C'mon, it's not like we didn't help!" Kiara whines. "But yes, she did give us the trauma kit."
"Sorry we couldn't fix the eye. It was, uh, exploded." Maruyama tries to laugh but it's clear this brings him no joy.
"It's fine. I don't think I would've wanted it fixed." Gregory chuckles before turning his attention to you. A gentle smile rests on his face. "Thank you. I think for everything you've done, you deserve a lot more than your...agreed payment."
"Ah ah, before you say anything." You quickly hand him the old antiques (sans the phone, you're keeping that) you have no use for. Gregory graciously accepts them.
"...Yes, yes. I'll think you'll find your new rewards to be appropriate. I'll put in a good message about you to some associates of mine. A friend of mine is a friend of theirs." You'd imagine any associates he had would be people in high, high positions of power.

This is a LOT more rewarding than you expected out of this seemingly low stakes mission. <span class="mu-b">You have a good feeling you just got lucky here. You doubt most low stake missions are gonna secretly offer this much.</span> You're not going to look a gifted horse in the mouth, though!
"So. What now?" Maruyama asks. "As much as I've had a <span class="mu-i">real</span> blast exploring this place, I rather get out of here before anything can ruin this."
"I wouldn't mind sticking around to take some more pictures but...mmh. We should get going soon." Kiara nods her head in agreement. Gregory is too busy trying to stand up straight to really comment further. What DO you want to do, Nicole?
