Ember seemed to be trying to calculate exactly that, and you let out a cheerful laugh. Maybe Cindy could have a turn after them. You searched for her…
Wait. Where was she? You could swear she was just standing between Ana and Flint a minute ago. Did she wander off somewhere?
“Uh, guys? Where's Cindy?”
After you pointed it out, it was as if a switch had flipped on in everyone's heads. They stared at each other, and their heads whipped around as they frantically searched for the girl.
Using your elevated position, you scanned your surroundings. She was nowhere to be seen. Where could she have possibly gone while you weren't looking?
No–better yet, WHERE WAS THE EXIT PORTAL!?
—-----
>Cindy
The portal closed right in front of you, and you tried to remember when you had crossed back over to the other side of it. You blinked a couple of times and stared around at Ben's living room in confusion.
Where was everybody? Were they still trapped inside of that pocket dimension!?
You were about to search for the Portal Projector, but right as you turned around, you saw a white haired woman standing in front of you. And not the one you were used to seeing.
It was the same woman you had encountered at the end of your battle with Varnae. You had been warned about her extensively, but you still felt underprepared.
This was her! Ami Han was here. You don't know how you knew, you just…did. There was a certainty in you that you couldn’t bother to worry about right now.
The White Fox grinned at you and propped her free hand up on her hip. And in her left hand, held almost casually, was the only thing that could free your friends. The Portal Projector!
“Cindy Moon. We meet again! Look how big you got!” Ami Han said, with only a slightly noticeable accent.
She spread her arms, and you followed the projector with your eyes. Her pristine, fluffy tails were spread out behind her, and were slowly moving to either side of you, drawing your attention back to her. A cold sweat ran down your back, but it was quickly soaked up by Mercy. Her presence, at least, was reassuring.
“Ehehe~! And what an adorable little kit you turned out to be! I could just eat you up.”
She said it in such a sweet sounding voice, but you didn’t dare take this woman lightly. Not when she was the reason behind your transformation.
What will you say/do?
>”What're you doing here, Ami Han? I think you've got another couple hundred years left on your banishment.”
>”Don't try to play cute with me. You're the reason I look like an anime character right now!”
>”I don't want to fight you. If you let my friends go, then we can settle this without threats.”
>Surprise her with a flashbang and sic Mercy on her!
>Attack!
>Stall her until you can find your sword.
>Write-in.
