After what feels like days, you end up in District 14. The first thing that informs you of this is the fact everything seems to have the color drained out of it. Browns, blacks, greys, and whites make up 90% of the streets and buildings. The only color that stands out is gold, from the crosses hanging around outside of buildings.
N-Company's District is...something, to say the least.
You look over the map and where you marked down the apartment. You lead the others over to it and they follow mostly without question. Granted, you actually know what the place is.
You arrive at the apartment not long after. It. It looks like shit, to be frank. Chunks are torn out of the wall, you can't see a single unbroken window, it's a whole mess. And it doesn't get much better as you two walk inside.
The smell of mildew and rot hits your nose. Alexis gags, covering her mouth, while Lex's face just scrunches up. "Icky." He mutters.
You take a look around at the front desk. There's a stairway leading to what you assume is the apartment floors at the back. There's some scattered chairs and tables that probably belonged to a bombed out war bunker. Oh, and at the front desk, there's a man above five times your body weight staring blankly at a porno mag. Probably the landlord.
Where do you go from here, Nicole?
>Go with Lex's plan. "Ask" the landlord where the apartment is so you can break into it. Cut to the chase. (DC: 18 using Lex's VIOLENCE. You'll get the apartment's location out of him regardless but succeeding will make sure he doesn't do any funny business.)
>Go with Alexis' plan. Talk to the landlord what he knows about Benjamin. Anything can help. (DC: 15, using Alexis' CHARM. On a success, you'll get some useful information. On a failure, you'll likely get stone walled.)
>Forget the landlord. Maybe you should wander around and ask the people of the apartment about him? (DC: ??, using Alexis' CHARM. Using her ID adds +10 to your final result. The higher you roll, the more information you get out of the residents.)
>You don't need to talk to the landlord. Best he doesn't know you're here, even. Go up and start searching the floors one by one. (Might get the wrong kind of attention.)
>Maybe the apartment isn't the right place to start. He's a pharmacist. Check your map to see what pharmacies or other medical places are, he HAD to have visited them, right? (DC: 12, using your COGNIZANCE. Succeed and you might notice something important. Failure? You waste your time.)
>You got a better plan... (Write in.)
