“My weakness? My 'weakness' is what allowed me to take this power from you in the first place.” you reply with a bit of snark, the otherworldly being not rising to the bait.
“You must have faith.” Being X preaches annoyingly. “Faith in this power you have taken, faith in the belief of your followers. Faith that you can once and for all defeat her.”
“Why do you care?” you reply, annoyed. Even though you know the answer.
“You know as well as I do that these damned Saiyans are a threat to every thing that draws breath. Even the divine.”
“Which is why you must unlock the full strength of the divine. If you try and fight with half-measures, you WILL perish.” Being X tells you.
“Half measures? Do you think I did all of this just to lose?” you ask, but feel that lingering doubt growing in the back of your mind. “Would I have put this much effort in if I wanted to fold?”
“You still don't believe, deep down.” Being X says simply. “If you want to survive tomorrow, you must believe in my power, in me. Else, you will fall. And she will kill you.”
“Fall? Yeah right.” you reply snarkily, looking away.
“Umm, Champion General?” Serebryakov asks, her voice making it clear that she doesn't know what you're talking about. Seems Being X ended the discussion early. “Who were you talking to?”
“Don't worry about it, just an annoying backseat driver.” you say dismissively, your second raising a brow in confusion. You then turn another monitor to her, this one the outline of each 'section' of the battle tomorrow. “Come on, let's run through it again. But this time, with the knowledge you now have of the aerial forces.”
“Yes Ma'am!” Visha shouts, saluting enthusiastically. Who needs faith when you have superior strategy, a perfect psychological understanding of your opponent, and discretionary military spending? You're going to win this, no matter the cost. But even still, that nagging doubt in the back of your mind remains. Can you really do it? Can you truly best her once again?

“So that's the plan for tomorrow's battle. What do you think?” Chaya asks her Sister and the golden Stand, the two Saiyans working out in the intense gravity together. “Think she'll play by the rules?”
“After what happened to you last time? I doubt it.” the much larger younger sister Caulifla says, veins popping and muscles bulging as she attempts to lift the same amount as her stronger sister. “She's going to try and kill you. Again.”
