Drink and work carried Lucian and the Dwarf throughout the morning and carried onwards into the evening. Lucian for the most part was talking to the people all about with the Dwarf steadily increasing both his supply and drunkenness laced within his breath. Yet Lucian had to admit it was undeniable that having the dwarf with his was helping talking to the people.
Lucian was a Knight, and even taking his helmet off did not seem to change the attitudes of people. For Adok though who quickly started spending but also enjoying the services provided gave enough cover for Lucian to commit to his duties.
“So you have seen this nobleman? He has blond hair and a missing ring finger.” Lucian asked this bartender with a hint of suspicion laced within his voice. The information he gathered becoming more and more useful as he talked around.
“Aye, I know him. I even let the man sleep here a couple nights ago.” The Bartender said which only confirmed what Lucian had heard a few doors down, “He was an odd fellow. Seemed like he was measuring me up for all the gold I had yet didn’t even barter me down when I told him the price of a room.”
“Do you think he was looking for something?” Lucian asked, keeping his cards close to his chest now.
The worker thought to himself as he took a bottle of decent wine and drained it into Adok’s glass. The Dwarf happily stayed quite with his alcohol, knowing that he could just focus on getting drunk instead of dealing with what Lucian had to plan out.
The Black Knight did not care, the backup was what he needed now if things get dicey.
“Yes, he said it was a sword. One of those magic ones from the tales of yore.” The Bartender said as he shook his head.
“Did you get his name by chance?” Lucian asked as he leaned in, “You did house him for the evening. Surely you did not have a complete stranger housed here.”
“Aye, it was…” The man stopped to think for a moment, “Ah, Wigmar! I remember it being Adolf Wigmar!”
“And where is he staying now?” Lucian asked as he leaned in, “You do not have a bad place here for a foreigner.”
“Ah, he told me he was staying at Baron Christofle’s estate from what I was told. He said his search for the relic has led him to one of the greats in Castle Bastonne.” The Bartender said with what was genuine admiration.
Thus a location was found.
>Head there, with Lizards
>Go in with the Dwarf
>To honor the Baron, go alone.
