currently, her superiors are also our jailors. as she said she get's reprimanded by them and probably emotionally destroyed when she isn't being mentally destroyed being within us. don't even have the backing of her previous squad mates to help her out by being there for her. she is currently very vulnerable. and opened up to us about something which she knows if others knew of would directly hurt her, when she had no need to.
she put herself in a vulnerable position to satisfy our emotional need at the time. and while she might not see it as such currently as she still doesn't consciously think too much of us as an individual. if we open up to her about our thoughts, she is the one most likely to actually understand and want to help us.
also, and i think this might be something very important. the more she dislikes us, and the more we work against each other. the harder it is to actually sync as well. have you people forgotten this chick is while imposed on us at the moment, just as much a slave of circumstance as we are? she isn't getting out of the project if we throw her out as a pilot. this is a secret state weapons project. if she was to try and enter the public as a normal person during the war she is gonna get an ice pick in her cranium i guarantee you.
