You sit at the lunch table, your mind racing with countless thoughts. You come up with one conclusion: you must dispose of the staff and most of the student body, cover up your involvement, and ultimately escape this hellish school. You feel like you're trapped in a horror movie; the terror and uncertainty seem never-ending.
"I've decided on my female name," you say to James, taking another small bite of your katsu curry. "It will be Aki".
"That's a nice name," he replies, "But what does it mean?"
"The kanji for Aki, 彬, means elegant and refined," you explain, smiling at the thought of the name's meaning. "I thought it suited me."
James looks at you quizzically. "I have no idea what kanji are," he admits, poking at sandwich. "I just chose Jacqueline because it sounded like my own name."
"I think Jacqueline is a lovely name," you say to James with a smile. "It's unique and elegant. And don't worry about not understanding kanji."
As you watch James swallow the red HRT pill without a second thought, you decide to fake taking it by hiding it between your teeth and your gum. You don't want to risk any side effects, and you're still uncertain about the pill's true purpose.
"Hey Jacqueline, have you felt anything from the pill yet?" you ask her.
"Not really. But hormone therapy isn't something that has a sudden effect. It takes time for your body to adjust," Jacqueline replies.
You decide not to tell her that you've swallowed the pill, and simply respond with a lie, "Oh, I don't feel anything either."
Ms Müller clears her throat and begins her speech. "Now that everyone has finished their meal, it's time to talk about your classes. As you know, some classes are mandatory, and they include English, Science, Ethics, Women's Studies, and Sexual Education." She pauses for a moment before continuing.
A student raises their hand and asks, "Excuse me, Ms. Müller, what exactly is Sexual Education class?"
Ms. Müller's expression remains neutral as she responds, "Sexual Education class is an important part of your education, where you'll learn about reproductive health and the importance of safe sex. You'll also learn about different forms of sexual expression, including those that are considered taboo in some societies."
Ms. Müller continues her speech, "Each of you must also pick two optional classes that are related to feminine behavior and feminization activities. These classes will not only help you to become better at portraying your femsona but also provide valuable skills for your future lives."
She pauses for a moment, looking around the room. "Remember, all classes are mandatory, and attendance is taken very seriously. Any absences will result in detention and extra coursework. We have high expectations for each of you, and we believe that with hard work and dedication, you will all succeed in your transformation into the best versions of yourselves."
