>>5892227>>5892231>>5892342"A good thing for you, but for me..." She smiles, but you can feel the irritation in her voice, even if you can't actually hear it. "You can read people's body really well, it's not actually something I gave you on purpose, curses sometimes just do that."
She isn't wrong, you can read her...somewhat well. It's as if you had known her all her life, and you knew every habit and tics of hers. But you can also tell something's slightly wrong, it's like she's missing a part of her body, and you're just guessing from what you can actually see.
She sits down at the dinner table, and taps it twice. "I'm sure you have questions, as you people often do, so ask away!"
You ask her the obvious things, who she is, why she cursed you, and why you should believe anything the home invader says.
"What is this, a job interview? Geez..." She twirls her hair with one finger, laying back on her chair with a bored expression. "So, I'm...a spirit? Call me Mona. As for the curse, I'm the one who put it on you, sorry! Curses, most people focus on the bad part of a curse, but the important part is breaking the curse. When a curse is broken, it makes a lot of..."
She makes a weird gesture with her hand, "...magic stuff. The harder the curse is to break for the victim, the more magic stuff is released. So in your case, sex? Really hard, especially if you add the consent part to it. Unless you take the easy way out that is~"
She lightly pulls on her cleavage, even though the gesture is clearly meant to be enticing, your heart beats faster more out of fear than actual excitement, as if your body knew something you didn't.
She sighs. "Whaaaatever, I'll be here if you need me. Oh, and if I were you, I'd be careful about who you go after. Just because someone is 'easy' doesn't mean there are no risks involved."
With that ominous message, she leaves the table and plops back on my bed.
You consider your options. You could try your neighbour, you rarely talk, and she's pretty reclusive, but it couldn't hurt to try.
There's also that small convenience store you often go to, the cashier is nice, but you're pretty sure she's nice to everyone. Still, she actually bothered to remember your name, so that has to count for something, right?
You could also do the safe but expensive option and try a prostitute, but you're not sure how the whole 'consent' thing works, what if paying someone doesn't count somehow?
