The two of them ate some more of the starch and talked about other things. Topics such as the culture on Nocturne or of Lucius. Both of them were able to share tales of their childhood and TalOS could not help but ask.
“These… Dark Eldar you speak of. They sound like a troublesome foe.” TalOS told his brother as he felt a few thoughts coming through, “And the Imperium has yet to find their home world?”
“As I have discussed with Father, they have one in the Warp. They are descendants of Eldar who escaped their annihilation by being in the Warp.” Vulkan admitted as he shook his head, “As I understand from him, we will only be able to deal with them if we can find a physical anchor into their realm.”
“And with that his logic is sound. The Warp is a land we must conquer through other needs. I trust our Creator will discover and employ these needs when they can be realized.” TalOS informed Vulkan with a small laugh, “It pains me to hear that you could not take the fight to them though. To strike at the Plastoids was one of my greatest accomplishments, you should have the same.”
“I will have it. I know our Father will give us all that chance.” Vulkan announced as he finally rose, “My Brother, I thank you for having me here. I do not have long, but thank you.”
“You are welcome.” TalOS admitted as the two finished their talk.
A week went by after that with discussions on both sides and TalOS showing Vulkan the true extent of Lucius’s productions. TalOS felt that during this time he had placed inspiration into his brother, inspiration that will hopefully last a lifetime.
At the end of the week they departed from one another. With TalOS having to resume his duties for the coming years. As he did, items came and went that needed his attention.
