You unfreeze Mandolin, before summoning an eye angel and a throne to accompany you. You find the bookshelf Snakewife was referring to and enter into the portal room.
You walk out onto a big platform that seems to be floating in the middle of a giant blue void. Connected to this platform is a bridge leading into what you can only assume is the portal.
Before proceeding, you decide to give the throne you've taken with you a soul.
