You crack your neck twice as you glare at Katakuri and think about how to handle him. Judging by his personality he seems the reserved and stoic type. Either he's full of himself or he has every right to be this much of a prick. Which is scary to think about. If he is just arrogant there is nothing to worry about. If he is genuine however fighting him smart would be a bad idea. Since he likely is smarter than you. No two ways about it, you'll need to drag him down to your level and beat him there. You'll need to fight with reckless abandon and throw as much at him as possible. See if he likes the future that holds.
He just stands there with his arms crossed as you begin your dash.

Mixing in a few other moves like elbows, knees and kicks you try to find an opening but they all achieve the same thing. He lets you go at him for a few more moments before he visibly gets tired of you. He raises his leg with a kick and aims it at your head. His timing was impeccable. The exact moment he moved you were looking away from that leg and by the time you even saw it the thing was half an inch from your eye. He hits you square on the head and you start spinning. But you use the momentum he gave you to aim your rising heel at his face. He takes note of this and actually leans back to dodge it, as if he was not expecting it.
In his frustration he goes from one kick to another and hits you in the stomach this time. The pain is excruciating and you feel like your stomach is about to break your own spine. Flying back you manage to reorientate yourself to stand on two legs. This is bad. You just went all out on him and he barely flinched once. You must go all out or you won't even stand a chance against him.
"Razielim, Zephonim-"
Your legs start to morph and a pair of wings bud from your back when you hear the sound of the Soru technique being used. Katakuri is standing in front of you with a three tipped spear that's dripping with some sticky white stuff. The glint in his eyes betrays his concentrated fury.
"Moguro."
The spear pierces your skin with the force of a cannon and Katakuri casually lifts you up with one arm. Your transformation is cancelled from the shock.
"Did you really think I'd just let you power up? Hmmm? WHA-"
You grab the shaft of the spear and pull it in. The head of the weapon digs deeper and blood gushes forth. But that does bring you closer to him. Close enough to hit.
"SILVER VOICE!"
You throw a punch and it's a clean hit. Or so you think. His chest erupts in that sticky stuff again and he's pushed back. However he reforms himself as if nothing happened. Even with armament you can't lay a finger on this guy. But he did get pushed back and now he no longer has a hold on his weapon.
"Kekeke. You want this back?"
