>>5202935>“Thank you for all your help, Flayn. If what you’re saying is true, selling it seems like it would be a waste. I’ll plan on cooking it instead and sharing it with a friend.”“A great choice! And one you won’t regret. They say that dishes made from the Goddess Messenger can even help increase one’s abilities in battle. I hope you find it most enjoyable!”
You exchange goodbyes with Flayn, before heading to the Mess Hall to put your newly acquired delicacy on ice. The fish should stay preserved in the care of the monastery’s chefs, and it’ll give you enough time to think hard about who you want to share It with. You return to your dorm and turn in for the night.
You spend the next week continuing to go hard on your training. The Archbishop has tasked the Knights of Seiros with scouring the local forests and villages for signs of either Monica or Tomas, but so far they’ve been unable to come up with any information. You’re annoyed, but you try and remain patient. Edelgard promised that you’d have a chance to take your vengeance. It’s up to you to make sure you’re prepared when the moment comes.
Professor Byleth has been absent from classes for another week. Rumor has it she’s been locked in her room, mourning the loss of her father, Captain Jeralt. You never knew the Professor to be the type of person to be in such distress. From everything you’ve seen of her, she seems to be the perfect and ideal type of soldier. Finding out that she’s in such a vulnerable state is somewhat comforting to you though. If someone of the Professor’s stature could still be moved by loss, then it’s only natural that you feel the same way about losing Martha and Xavier.
You finish up another week of classes. Without Professor Byleth’s guidance, you find your studies to be lacking a bit, but there’s nothing to be done. You decide to use your extra moment of free time to:
