>>5857494You shake your head. “Look at you, you’re barely back to having a human body for a single day, and you’re already plotting conquest! And… for what, exactly? What would you do if you actually ended up running this planet? You barely know even a fraction of how much things have changed since your time. Hell, the earth of today is leagues different than it was even 20 years ago!” You put your hands on your hips and glare at him. “There are new people-groups around, new technologies people rely on, politics that extend even beyond this planet! Even smaller, more mundane things like the damn tax policy, are so vastly different than what you’re likely used to that trying to swing the clock back to how things worked in your time would cause mass revolt!” You then swing your arms out and declare, “And that’s the biggest problem! How would you handle threats to this world, new and old, external and internal? Did your people have any interactions with entities like the PTO? Galactic Patrol? Machine Mutants?! That last one had someone who TOOK OVER this planet for a brief time! What can you show that’ll prove you aren’t just an overly excited puppy running after a car, chasing a goal without thinking through what happens when you finally get there?”
He genuinely cowers hearing all that. “Well I… that… you see…” His head hangs low. “It seems I do have much to learn about this time…”
You stand up straight and smile pleasantly. “Good! Now that you’ve got that to consider, and now that you’ve made a new friend here on the surface again, we gotta be off. Bye King Darutanias!~”
Turning around, you spot Basilea actually smiling a little too. “I’ll admit. That was… decent.”
“You gotta be aware these things as a princess.” you remark, causing her to nod in agreement.
“They’re good points.” Don Para agrees. “It’s why there are groups out there that focus more on the business or mercenary side of things instead of the ruling worlds. Some people just ain’t cut out for leading.”
“So, where to next, boss?” Cheelai inquires
“And are you sure you want to just leave him here with Abale watching over him?” Piccolo asks as he looks over at Darutanias, who… looks to be brooding over by a rock.
