The Prophet of the Machine God slammed into the ground with the same amount of force that he kicked into the Daemon. The ground did not reflect the impact or anything else, for the webway was in itself still the warp. And the warp never truly obeyed the laws of physics.
Drach'nyen was in hot pursuit for he could taste the chance. To gain vengeance for the strike that the Omnissiah had done to the Daemon and avenge the bits of blood which were now spilling out of its gut.
As it flew down the Divine prepared his blade in welcome, causing the Daemon to drift to the side instead of foolishly taking the Omnissiah from the front. As Drach'nyen touched the floor its wings were replaced with feet as its form was closer to a leopard. It stuck to the ground and dashed right under the strike by the Omnissiah, only losing a bit of its tale as it happened.
The Divine kicked and watched as Drach'nyen turned what was a stomach into a pair of waiting jaws to sink into the coming limb. The Daemon thought it had outsmarted the Prophet of Machines but then watched as the limb that was once a foot sharpened into a knife.
The Daemon was caught surprised and felt the bladed limb of the Omnissiah sink into its body. While pain shot through its body though the Daemon was already moving away from the limb and away from the body of the Omnissiah.
Drach'nyen’s eyes told the Omnissiah everything he needed to. It had realized that its target was far worse than it expected and that it was starting to consider a retreat. Unlike a Khornate it held the feelings of self preservation that the First Victim of Murder felt. Whatever surprise it had was gone and it tried to leap away.
The Omnissiah knew this was a moment he could not lose and with a push of his will caused the relationship between Drach'nyen and time to deviate into slothness. The Daemon was forced to watch as the Thallax Automatas and Tech Priests that had positioned themselves near this location firing upon him.
Lightning leaped from their guns and danced upon the flesh of Drach'nyen. The creature slowly convulsing as the attacks played with its body. Quickly it lost its feline form and became but a blob that was meaningless in concert.
It was then that reality broke around Drach'nyen. It was a Neverborn, a creature of the Warp, and as such imposed its will upon the area around him causing reality itself to break down. It was like a worm wiggling out of a hand holding it. Its puss becoming almost labyrinth before tossing itself at the nearby Tech Priest and murdering him. Blood and oil rained as it tore into the shoulder and drove daggers through the back of the Priest.
