>>5629817>Take the fellas out to celebrate for the night. You can't stay out too late, but a meal and a walk should be good enough reward. (Visit The Bay Leaf)You haven't seen Anissa in a little while. You should go have a visit. Scyther liked the food last time, and introducing Joltik to the place would be cute. Plus, Joltik is definitely allowed in there. You recall how Anissa was debating whether to even let Scyther in, but a cute little yellow bug should be no problem at all. You go clean yourself up and change into a nice casual dress, then pack your handbag and lock up after yourself.
"Come on, you two! Joltik, you'll ride on my head. Just don't mess up my hair, please."
She clambers onto your skull and settles into a little nest. Unfortunately, your request goes unfollowed. All the static electricity causes your hair to stick to her, making it puff up significantly. You sigh and walk along with Scyther, enjoying the cool evening air. Halfway down the street, you realise that you didn't bring your umbrella, and its been raining for the past two weeks.
You don't feel like walking back and unlocking your door just to get it, so you decide to gamble and just hope it doesn't storm. You make the walk down to the boulevard that the restaurant is on. Along the way, you see plenty of people walking around with their Pokémon. A few wave at you, recognising you and your pals from the Tall Tale, and you wave back enthusiastically. It's nice to see that you're at least building up a reputation in town.
You queue up at Anissa's restaurant, and are soon shown in by a waiter. It's a lot less crowded than the last time, since it's a weekday night. Once you've had a while to check out the menu, Anissa herself shows up to greet you.
"Penny!"
"Anissa! Hi! How've you been?"
"I've been great. Parasect laid her eggs, so I've been a little busy. I didn't get a call from you, so I assumed you weren't interested after all. That's fine, right?"
"Yeah, yeah of course. I decided to get a new Pokémon. Here, say hello to Joltik!"
She crawls off your head and stares up at Anissa, who holds a hand out to pet her. Scyther watches cautiously, while eagerly awaiting his meal. You've decided on a bloomin' Oddish for him. You don't want him to eat fried food that often, but it's a treat today.
"Where'd you catch the Joltik?"
"Out in the Trainyard. Went there on Sunday to look for new Pokémon."
"Oh! I've never been there myself. I should really go out into the woods one of these days. I've been wanting to try and find a Tangrowth."
"I thought there weren't any records of them being spotted?"
"Well, if there's Tangela, there's gotta be Tangrowth. I want to know the difference in their taste. Speaking of which, what can I get you? You liked the Tangela noodles last time, right? I hired a new chef, wanna see what he cooks?"
