"I'm considering it, I've just got another call to make first." You say.
Your mother nods before you call Ethan.
The phone rings a few times before he picks up and brightens as Syurm peeks over his shoulder.
She's grown a lot since you last saw her, despite the fact it hasn't quite been a week.
++"Alex! Up bright and early I see."++ Ethan says. ++"Syurm's learned heaps. Even won a couple of Gym battles standing in for Weedle for me."++ He says as Syurm preens at this.
"Really?" You ask, startled.
++"Yeah, second-badge level matches, but she really blindsided a few trainers. I didn't want to use her as part of my team, but she kept showing up to matches, so I decided to humour her."++ He explains. ++"I tried to call you about it, but you were out of range. I was going to try again this morning, actually."++ He admits.
"It's fine, just as long as she's alright." You assure.
++"I take it you want her back?"++ Ethan asks.
"That's right." You confirm. "I met let her visit some other time though, if she enjoyed herself that much." You add with a grin.
Syurm perks up at this, before Ethan recalls her, before shortly, her ball appears beside her.
++"Alright, well good luck with Darren."++ Ethan says. ++"He prides himself on tripping people who think they're looking at an easy win up."++
"I'm looking forward to facing him." You assure, before the call ends.
Tom and Sarah should be off to school soon, but you might be able to catch them if you call home now.
