That longing for someone... you haven't felt crying like this anymore, not after Rosa took you on an adventure. So you take out the grimoire with the missing pieces from your inventory, and show it to a crestfallen Millie.
"I know how you feel, Millie... I've read through it."
You wipe a dripping tear (thankfully you managed to hold back on the snot) as Millie throws you and your grimoire a questioning glance.
"Wait, what did you mean by read?"
The grimoire gets handed over, and a while later, Millie had skimmed through it.
"Craig, this book is eerily accurate - where'd you get it?"
Millie's voice had changed into an optimistically disbelieving one.
"A bookstore in Crack! Why'd you ask?"
Gone are your sadness, upon seeing Millie getting excited again. She practically grins as she replies.
"Craig, this made me hope that there is another way to revive James Baxter! If not in body, then in spirit and memory."
She grabs your hand, joyful.
"Thank you, Craig! I will never forget you, I mean it!"
You are back as Rosa Montagni again, halfway to the town of Pinewatch - and you hear giggling behind you. Kids, you think, are more resilient than you can imagine. Just a while ago, they were crying - inside or outside - and now, they're happily holding hands. You wish you had their resilience back when you were a kid - well, it doesn't matter now.
As the town comes into view, so does a commotion. Centered around an autowagon, one that is larger than usual. Like a mobile home, even! Townsfolk are congregating around the odd sight, slightly blocking the northwards road. How should you proceed?
