You slowly push the door leading to Soralisa and Rubida’s room.
Of course, they are awake.
“What happened?” Soralisa asks. “We heard fighting, and—”
“Nothing much. One of the Asterites disrespected Ansàrra. Rosandra and I made sure she learned her lesson.” A pause. “Sandora has left.”
“Where?” Rubida asks.
“Her Crow has been killed, so she is dealing with some business of hers.”
“Will she be back?”

“I have no idea.”
You set Carnaval’s feather and your sword against the wall, then reach for your friends and pull them both into an embrace.
“We are going to make it,” you whisper.
And as you three sit on the creaking bed, Soralisa’s soft breathing next to you, Rubida running her hands through your hair as you three all seek comfort, you close your eyes, and send your thoughts up, up, up.
Past the darkness and the air, towards the unrelenting Sun.

Thanks for playing, as always. Due to some life circumstances and some literary work I am on a deadline to complete, I am forced to put the Quest on hold for a while. I’m thinking about three weeks. Next thread should come on the 5th of May, some three Mondays from now.
When the thread comes back, I’ll also most likely adopt a new schedule system for at least the whole of summer.
I am a bit bummed about having to close it before its time. This thread was fun, especially the posts about Carnaval, the doodles (I hope you enjoyed them!), and seeing Argia grow once again.
All in all, we are still having fun, and that’s what matters.
