Of all the wise and strong warriors that would’ve been more than happy to be his Champion, he chose a violent beastman who’s entirely clueless of the world outside his tribe. He saw something in you. You’re not sure what… but it definitely wasn’t just your strength potential.
If only you could use the powers he granted you to save people from being killed for the ‘glory’ of the Devils. If you could save even one person, whether it’s a gnoll, goblin or otherwise… that would be nice. It would offset some of the misery your past actions brought - not just to those goblins, but to all beastfolk you’ve killed and eaten over the years. None of them are coming back to life, but maybe… maybe you CAN do something for those that are still alive.
Nobody deserves to suffer at the mercy of demons. Their evil runs rampant in the forest on the surface, but also within this fortress. Someone ought to shed a light of hope upon all these poor creatures…
