After what was a few days of investigation TalOS realized that there was no actual records about the crystal. He had hoped that there might have been a memoir about the item from someone of the Holy Order of Magi or records from Fenris itself. Instead TalOS hit a massive wall that told him exactly what he needed to do.
While TalOS left UZ1 to further their testing and see if she was able to crack something about it TalOS carried the axe through the halls. TalOS was, as always, flanked by two of his Steel Wardens as they traveled about the ship. Though he personally made sure the Gellar Field was up to snuff, one could never know what happens in the land of the Warp.
It was the training halls where TalOS found his quarries. Not that they were hard to find as TalOS pinged his sons for assistance in finding them but he digressed. TalOS witnessed as one of the Legionaries was dueling with one of TalOS’s own Steel Wardens in what looked to be a climatic brawl.
The one who was going for the quick attack was the Wolfman with a feral chop with what TalOS determined to be an unrevered chain axe. The weapon would have struck right at the center of the Steel Warden before the Acillian brought a hand around and slammed it into his arms. This might not have been effective if it was not for the subtle shocks of electricity going through the armor and stopping the muscles within the Space Wolf’s arm long enough for him to point his armament and place a series of practice shots into the Space Wolf’s Gut.
And like that the two broke off from one another and watched. The next second the Space Wolf charged and narrowly dodged a series of practice shots before once again getting into Melee with the Acillian. TalOS watched this time as one of the Mechanrites came from behind the Space Wolf and tripped his feat, causing him to slam into the ground with a metal thud.
The Acillians simply brought his weapon around and placed a pair of practice rounds into the Astarte’s thick head.
TalOS heard the roaring and mocking of the Space Wolves who were left out of the fight as the Steel Warden gave a prayer to the Machine Spirits. Seeing a good time as the Primarch approached.
“That was a good spare AL3X4NDER.” The Primarch said out loud as he turned towards the Space Wolves, “How many times have you all beaten him?”
“None.” Laughed the one who was rubbing the spot where the practice munitions landed.
“I came close a couple of times.” Laughed another of the wolves.
“Worthy of defending a Primarch.” Cheered another of the wolves.
“Indeed he is.” TalOS said as TalOS noticed some Acillians were already going to help their brother.
