He looks around at all of you, Rozriz staring him down with Ki-infused knives in her hands, 19 with her guard still up, Nalitaty holding a sword brimming with energy up in his direction, Maple healing up her wound, and even Irico holding up his pistol, a bead of sweat dripping down his large forehead.
Mira rubs the side of his face where you hit him first. “I will remember this, brat.”
And so, he leaves too, vanishing with Instant Transmission. All of you finally, finally, truly relax. You power down and let yourself fall back, exhaling deeply. “I… think we can call this mission accomplished, right?”
“Yeah. Threat’s been… nominally neutralized.” mom agrees.
Irico holsters his weapon, arms shaking a bit. “I’m not sure how I feel about an extremely powerful and dangerous individual running free with a mad scientist like that, and my report will have to reflect that honestly, but it’d be correct to say the immediate threat at the very least has been… nominally neutralized.” He wipes his forehead. “I’m honestly just glad I can say we all lived. I think I’ll need to take on a nice, long vacation or something after this.”
“I’d say you’ve earned it.” Nalitaty tells him in a friendly voice, giving him a thumb’s up.
19 though is looking at a terminal, a frown on her face. “…It’s good that we arrived here when we did. I can’t imagine what the likes of Towa would do with-” Her eyes narrow and she stops, floating a little closer. She gives a glance towards you for a brief moment, before shaking her head. “…In any case, we got here just in time.”
Mom claps her hands together. “All right! Let’s get out of here and wrap all this up.”
