For what must have been an agonizing moment of silence to which even the Tech Priests around him fell silent, the head of the Primarch turned towards his fellow throne bearer. In an instant communication was held between the two that could not be heard by everyone. Vadar realized that it was the Noosphere that granted them such perfect privacy.
As if confirming what he had decided the arms of the Primarch retracted and he spoke, “I have been wondering about such a thing for a long time now. I had wondered when I should make such a declaration. You have given onto me a great demand that I can only see myself obligated to fulfill. Not even my brothers, blessed may they be, cannot carry such good will as you do today.”
Vadar could hear the skipping of Matthias’s heart. For a Legion Master to be so easily compared to a Primarch was something they could rarely ever expect. While they still wished to be respected they are still lesser than their Father’s kin ultimately.
“What you call me, Primarch, is in reference to being the leader of just a Legion. From the reports I have seen there are indeed numerous auxilia of humans that they might host, largely they are a host of Astartes.” The Primarch laid out as they looked at what could easily be mistaken as a giant human who wore the most perfect armor.
The Primarch made a wave of his hand as he took over the display and showed a series of soldiers with Horus Lupercal at the front of them all, “That is the definition of a Primarch ultimately, a Demi-God who was crafted through the wisdom of my creature to lead his Astartes armies. But as you have learned I do not fulfill this definition, I am only a Primarch by title instead of action.”
That was a declaration was something none would expect a being of his caliber to make. It was paradoxical to the Astartes to register such words within their engineered minds.
A Primarch who was not a Primarch. That is like saying water isn’t water. It went against their reality.”
“I am Arch Dominus and Princep TalOS DAV1S of Lucius, or if referred to by brethren Sanctus Dominus. I am a general over men, not just Astartes.” He said before his eyes glazed upon Vadar, “As such, I need those who can step into the role of Primarch.”
