"You honor me with such a choice, Master." Says your amused fox wife in relation to the newly named airship, The Vixen's Luck. She bows. "Though I fear such a title may place the curse upon this vessel."
"We survived it, didn't we?" You smile. "We'll survive even more."
She smiles back.
"Well I think it's fitting," Bertha blurts out.
"It's not the worst name out there." Said Cattleya.
"Maybe something like The Fairy's Wings would sound cute?" Mel thought aloud. "But it might not fit a cargo ship..."
"I was worried we weren't ever gonna decide on a name for that thing." Herta said. "We've all wanted to propose something to Master, but we ended up just talking and talking and talki-"
"Ahem." Ruby cleared her throat as she grinned. "It's an exceptional name, as expected from an exceptional Master. In my personal opinion, and in the Eastian tradition of marking vehicles, numbering airships to better organize and separate any upcoming designs from-"
"Whatever the case," Gerty interrupted. "The Master's decision is final. We should be grateful he's even considered our opinion on the matter." Gerty said firmly, getting your wives to finally agree to put a lid on the discussion.
From the surprising list of choices that were voiced you realized that you didn't have to worry about naming a ship for the foreseeable future.
You decide to land by the base, setting anchor on the former campsite. Those two turrets are still operational and have done a decent job at keeping the area clear of monsters.
Herta went off to make some food with the help of Ayane, while you and the rest of the girls started to get a makeshift workshop ready outside.
Cattleya, while in the middle of bringing out a workbench, stopped in her tracks and sniffed the air. Both you and Mel could also feel like something was wrong, but couldn't really put it into words.
"Oi Master, there's some goblins nearb-" Just as Cattleya was about to finish that sentence a few bullets whizzed past her, one barely grazing her arm. She hissed, put the bench to its side, and used it as cover.
Soon many gun wielding goblins showed themselves. There weren't as many as before, but they'd caught all of you by surprise.
