>>5595790The Dragon's Den. Go-to spot in town for locals, and seen by everyone as the #1 bar in town. That means it's crowded and a little chaotic, but the atmosphere is familiar. You're trying to become well-liked in town, and truly integrate into the local population, so this might be a great place to start. You pour out some dinner for Scyther before you go, and wait for him to empty out the bowl. You'll get him some snacks later, on the way back.
Despite meeting a thief there, you had a good time. Can't really begrudge the bar itself. You're familiar with the route too, and figure that you should visit again instead of looking for a new watering hole. Some of the other options on the list seem enticing, but there's always next week. You keep Scyther out of the ball so he can walk with you the whole way. He enjoys spending time in the evening air, and once the three-storey pub comes into sight, you return him and securely fasten the ball to your waist.
You head inside, and are immediately hit by the lively sounds of the crowd. It's decently crowded today, with a particularly large group of travellers ordering drinks on one side of the bar. You see a few people going over to them with pens and paper, and a few of them are signing autographs. Some kind of sports team, perhaps? Lobraise is too small to have any kind of athletics scene or local team, so they must be passing through.
The varnished oak and orange lighting gives the place a rustic charm, that makes you feel right at home. You give the Dragonite skull a passing glance as you walk towards the counter. The bartender and owner is there like last time, serving drinks to Darrell and a few of his hunting friends. You recognize some of them from Opening Night, where they brought their own families to share the Pecking Ducklett special. He nods to you when he sees you, and you wave back.
Once he's done with their group, the Bartender walks over to you.
"Same as the other week?"
"The other week?"
