Who then put aside the necessary money in the treasury. You then looked outside your window and at the village. This place could become a major trade and population hub and more importantly a source of money. although it would also serve as your base of operations for now. So you might as well begin settling in fully.
You came to consider some improvements for the village thankfully less expensive and shorter than the road project due to the smaller scale
The first main option was to build a harbour for ships and barges to stop at thereby increasing trade in the village and potentially diversifying the goods available to the village.
The second option was to build a tavern or inn owned by you to increase profits. It would keep travellers with money a place to stay and spend their coin as well and your own population would probably be eager to come and go.
You could also begin to renovate you hill-fort into proper castle made out of brick. which was thankfully availbe to you thanks to the furnace just outside the village it would be expensive and with no immediate or direct profit but would increase your personal security and personal prestige relative to your neighbouring fellow vassals.
Another option would be to expand the capacity of the brick furnace to produce more brick. It would most certainly give you something more sturdy to work with than would and would help with building more brick buildings. Although with no market to sell them to the profitability remain questionable
You have 443 Vollinger Mark (VM) in the treasury,it is the fifth month of the year 1220
>Build the harbour to increase trade (85 VM takes 6 months)>Build a inn inside the vilage (90 VM takes 4 months)>Expand the hillfort into a castle (120 VM takes 12 months) >Expand brick procuduction(100 VM takes 5 months)
